I Heart Market – Witness Article

I’m such a fame whore that I get seriously over excited when people use my pics in Newspapers or Magazine articles or even Online articles. Thanks to Anna and Alexandra I got some pics in the Weekend Witness a little while back.

Baby Shower Children

It’s amazing how many children you can find at a baby shower. Maybe it’s just because I’m the wrong side 30 and half the people I know already have kids, but I’m pretty happy about it because it provides great photo opportunities for me.

Angie Goes Horse Riding

When Angie mentioned that she would be going horse riding this morning, I jumped at the chance to go and check it out. I love horses but I’ve never been on one and I was keen to see where she rides and what the horses are like. I was terrified of them when I was younger but I think that’s due to the sheer size of them when you’re a mere 3.5ft tall. I was convinced I was going to get kicked by one and that would be the end of me. Clearly, that never happened.

For anyone interested on getting on a horse, give Meadowridge Riding School a call on 083 653 3884 or check out their facebook page.

10 Things: Now Playing

Radio is so dire these days that I generally open my itunes, push play and let it go. Having said that though, I’m definitely going through an Indie Folk Rock stage and there are some bands that seem to see more airtime than others.

In no particular order, both old and new, here’s a list of 10 songs from some of my most played bands/artists:

  1. The Funeral – Band of Horses
  2. 40 Day Dream – Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros
  3. The A Team – Ed Sheeran
  4. Stubborn Love – The Lumineers
  5. Little Talks – Of Monsters and Men
  6. God of Small Things – Thomas Krane
  7. Thistle & Weeds – Mumford & Sons
  8. On The Outside Looking In – Alison Krauss & Union Station
  9. Jolene – Zac Brown Band / Ray LaMontagne (slightly more depressing)
  10. This is Why We Fight – The Decemberists
